Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers have a lot of fun discovering new things and experiences they wouldn't have elsewhere. Along the way they develop into capable, confident and well-rounded individuals, better prepared for success in the world. Scouting offers a world where youth can discover the best in themselves and the best in others, and offers adventures that they will remember for a lifetime!

Hello 203 Scout Troop,

The theory of starting a fire is simple. Fire is at the core of human existence as it provides warmth, utility, and comfort. Enabling us to cook food at camp, keep warm on a cold night, and purify water; it is easy to understand why fire is essential.  Knowing six of the most important knots will prepare you for many common situations that may arise while camping (Square Knot, Bowline, Sheet Bend, Half Hitch, Clove Hitch and the Taut Line).  Let’s get Scouting!
