** All beavers are asked to bring a 1 or 2 L pop bottle. No decorating is required but you might want to mark with your initials.

** Please ensure you dress for the weather, have your water bottle with you and an extra mask.

** We will be outdoors all evening and there are no washrooms, so please go before you come.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Beavers will be meeting VIRTUALLY on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 6:15 – 7:00 p.m.

Hi Beavers and Families.

We will on-line again this week, as we do our part to keep everyone safe.

As part of this weeks challenge youth will be talking about and building a shelter.  As we are on-line this can be built indoors like you would build a fort.  Youth can build during the meeting or before the meeting and participate on the call from their shelter/fort.

Please send pictures of you building and in your fort so that we can submit for the challenge badges.

Please be creative and have fun.

See you on-line Monday night.

Beavers Meeting Info. – Monday, April 19, 2021

Beavers will be meeting VIRTUALLY on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 6:15 – 7:00 p.m.

Hi Beavers and families.
In our continued effort to keep everyone safe, we will be meeting online this week. This week we will be participating on Week 1 of the Great 8 Challenge.

As part of our challenge this week we will be creating a no bake snack for camping/hiking.

If you don’t have these ingredients at home you can choose an alternative or let Scouter Hawkeye know before Monday.

Ingredients:
-2 and 1/2 cups regular oats
-1 cup pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds or leave out
-1/2 cup dried cranberries, or raisins
-2/3 to 3/4 cup peanut butter
– approx. 1/2 cup honey
-1 tsp. ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:
Mix oats, seeds, and raisins/dried cranberries in a large bowl. Whisk together the peanut butter, honey, and cinnamon in a separate bowl. At this point, I’ve found it helpful to microwave this mixture slightly, for just 10 to 20 seconds, as it softened the mixture and helped it come together. Whisk the peanut butter and honey mixture a bit more, and pour over the dry ingredients. Mix well, until the oat mixture is well-coated and everything is combined. If it feels too dry, add a little more honey.

Press mixture into a pan lined with saran or parchment paper and refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Cut and enjoy

Looking forward to seeing you online tomorrow.
