Note for TENDER PADS – tender pads who are attending Cuboree please attend Monday’s planning meeting with the Cubs at New Horizons, 1000 Strathcona Dr, from 6:30-8:-00 p.m.

There is No Meeting on Victoria Day, Monday, May 20.

May 24-26 – Cuboree at the Garrison (White tails only)

Monday May 27 is our year-end meeting for the Beavers. They are invited to bring a friend and their family to Centennial Park (4000 Sherwood Drive) for an outdoor meeting from 6:15-7:30 p.m.

June 7-9 – Beaveree (Damboree) at Sylvan Lake

What: Youth have the choice to either hike or mountain bike we as that they let us know which event they will be participating in by completing the following survey. We ask that youth please show up 15 minutes early so that we can ensure that we start the adventure at 630 sharp.
Where:  “Waskahegan Staging Area”
Equipment Required: Day Pack, Full water bottle
Mountain Biking: Helmet, Bike suitable for trail riding, Dress for the weather
Hiking: Appropriate footwear, Dress for the weather, Survival/personal firstaid kit.

Monday, May 6 is the swim up night at New Horizons from 6:30-8:00. Family is invited, and White Tails are asked to wear their Cub shirts or a grey shirt under their Beaver attire. –Draw for playhouse will take place.
*Registration for the Spring Camp on May 10-12 is DUE:

  • $20/youth – full camp (additional $5 for White Tail Friday Night)
  • $20/parent – full camp
  • $15/youth – Saturday day only

* Parents are not required to attend
* Meals and snacks will be provided

*WEDNESDAY, May 8 is the Beavers’ visit to the Strathcona Food Bank (255 Kaska Road) from 6:00-7:15 (note the adjusted time). Beavers will help at the Food Bank and learn about this important service to our community.

The Beavers’ spring camp is taking place May 10-12. Registration is due at the Swim Up meeting on May 6.

Parents are encouraged to stay as we swim our Whitetails up to Cubs, walk our Howlers up to Scouts…

6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., (or sooner if we get done quickly)
Where: We will meet on North Service Road on the North Side of Highway 16 just East of Range Road 222, in front of Pioneer Seeds

  • This is a parented fundraiser.
  • Youth should bring gloves and a water bottle.
  • Please wear your Neckers.

Monday, April 29th the Beavers will be visited by Constable Green. He will be leading us through an evening of bike safety. Bring your bike and show us yo
ur safety skills! Helmets are mandatory. *Please help your youth to remember their dues, water bottle, and first aid kit.
*The Beaver Spring Camp package will be available.
*Almond money is due.
