The scouts will be meeting at Centennial Park (4000 Sherwood Drive) on Monday night to work on their match and fire permits.

Addison – will be presenting styles of fire.
Blake, Kayley, and Leander – will be teaching the scouts how to build 3 fire-starters: Lint bombs, fireballs, and match torches.

The scouts will then practice building fires with the skills they learned.

For the meeting if we can have youth please bring some cotton balls, 3 Kleenex’s, a cardboard egg container (optional), and a container or Ziploc bags to carry their fire starters.

Uniforms are not required. We will be going rain or shine so please dress for the weather. Hot chocolate will be available 🙂

Also I will be arriving at 6:15 for any Scouters who may need to be in two different locales on Monday.
