On Monday, January 22, we will be hosting our Bring-a-Friend night at New Horizons School from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Cubs are encouraged to invite a friend to join us for this meeting and introduce them to the Cub Scout adventure! Online invitations are available on the Scouts Canada website. Cubs will be designing and building some fantastic creations in our MakerSpace that night. MakerSpace is a creative and collaborative environment where ideas are shared, expanded and brought to life. Cubs should bring some materials that can be used to build, create, and share. Some examples of MakerSpace materials are:

• Cardboard, paper, boxes
• Duct Tape/Scotch Tape/Masking Tape
• Empty Toilet Paper, Paper Towel, and wrapping paper Rolls
• Fabric, Felt & Ribbon
• Recycled Containers
• Paper Clips, metal fasteners (brads)
• Odds & Ends Craft Supplies
• Stapler, scissors
