Monday May 7th the Beavers will be meeting at New Horizons School (1000 Strathcona DR.) with the Cubs and Scouts from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.  They will be participating in a ceremony where the white tails swim up to the Cub pack.  This is an exciting celebration and we encourage parents and family members to stay for the meeting.

At last weeks meeting the white tails completed their Northern Lights Quest. Scouter Snake was their advisor and had this to say:

“The White Tail Beaver Scouts (The White Snakes) have undertaken and completed a Northern Lights Quest that has made a contribution to the community by collecting and sorting food and Clothing donations.

They have collected approximately 45lbs of for the Strathcona County Food Bank, as well as 30lbs of clothing for the Count Clothes Line.

With the completion of this quest, they have earned their North Star Award, then, having had fun and worked hard, The White Snakes are ready to swim up to the Cub Scout Pack and explore the world beyond the forest and pond.”

Monday May 14th the Beavers will be meeting at Westboro Elementary School for bring a friend night! We will be meeting in the west soccer field. Please have youth bring a water bottle and ensure they have used the washroom before the meeting as we do not have access to the school.
