Monday, September 30 –  meeting is 6:15-7:30 p.m. at Mill’s Haven Elementary School, where we will be starting the Friends of the Forest story, practicing outdoor adventure skills, and having fun. *Please ensure Beavers bring indoor shoes, dues and water bottles. **Please bring $5 to cover food and supplies and signed consent forms for the Fall Outdoor Adventure day so we can get an idea for number attending.

Saturday, October 5 – Beavers Fall Outdoor Adventure at Hidden Valley (by Elk Island Retreat) Range Road 205 & TWP 544 Click here for a map (Enter the camp from Township Road 544). The beavers will have fun and learn about outdoor adventure skills from 10 AM – 3 PM, with lunch provided. The cost will be $5 to cover food and supplies, parents are welcome (but not required).

Monday, October 7, meeting is the investiture where new Beavers officially join the group and the returning Beavers get their new tails. Parents are encouraged to join for the ceremony – bring your cameras.

3rd Annual Edmonton Eskimos Scout Night
When: October 12,  (Edmonton Eskimos vs BC Lions)
Where: Commonwealth Stadium
Cost: $30 per person *Due Monday, September 30

-Game starts at 5 pm, Drop off at 3:45 pm location TBD
-Parents requested to stay for this event, don’t have to sleepover, can just attend the game, but have to complete safe scouting for parents at myscouts.ca and complete a criminal record check if staying overnight.
-Pick up at 8 am location TBD
**Consent Forms will need to be signed and handed in before the event.
