Cubs will be meeting on Monday from 6:30 – 8:00 at Woodbridge Farms Elementary School, 1127 Parker Drive (Map).

The 203 Sherwood Park Cubs are pleased to welcome Mr. Roland and Ms. Kelly from the Sherwood Park Fish and Game Association, to help us build birdhouses.

The Sherwood Park Fish and Game Association has provided pre-cut and assembled packages for the youth to build, at our meeting, and some to take home and build with our families.  Mr. Roland will guide us through the process to put together a birdhouse.  The houses will then be put up at the Sherwood Park Fish and Game Association, Ketchamoot Creek Property, with GSP locations attached to each one so that we can go out and locate them at a future meeting.

There are extra birdhouses that can be taken home to build, Any Birdhouses brought home to build must be returned at the October 19th meeting.  If you haven’t let Scouter Amy know how many you’d like to take home please do so before Monday’s meeting.

-Be sure to do your pre-screening before arrival.

-Be sure to use the washroom before you come as there is not one available.

-Masks will be mandatory until we figure out spacing.

-Please dress for the weather, as it’s starting to get chilly in the evenings.

-Don’t forget to wear your neckers. Full uniforms are not required as they will be hiding under warm outerwear.

*Also please bring your backpack to every meeting with FULL water bottle, small healthy snack, headlamp, situpon, extra mask, first aid or emergency kit (the ones the youth created, if they haven’t made one with us let us know.) Thin gloves might also be a great addition to their packs as it’s starting to get chilly in the evenings.

***Bring HAMMER & SAFETY GLASSES in your backpack. (Please let Scouter Amy know if you do not have these items)***
