Scouts will be meeting on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Gold Bar Park, 10955 50 Street, Edmonton, Alberta(MAP) from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. ** Please be at the Gold Bar Park parking lot by 6:15 pm so we can start the activity @ 6:30 pm.  Thanks everyone!

Hello 203 Scout Troop!

Let’s try some Geocaching!  This is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called “geocaches” or “caches”, at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world.

Be Prepared to:

PLAN

• Download the free App ( i.e. https://www.geocaching.com/play ) on your electronic devices and set up an account BEFORE  Monday night’s meeting. (Everyone)
• Fall Season Cycle activities/events (Everyone)

DO

• DO – Break into Patrols and Geocache around Gold Bar Park (Patrols)
• PLAN – Fall Season Cycle activities/events (Everyone)

REVIEW

• How can the Troop expand it’s geocaching adventures?  Where could we go next?

NOTE*:  A friendly reminder to all Scouts & Scouters, a Backpack is required for all outdoor meetings.  The following items that are required are as follows:

• Scout Uniform or Activity Shirt with NECKERS
  
• Water Bottle or Hot Drink Thermos
• Hand Sanitizer
• Face Mask(s)
• Headlamp or Flashlight
• Warm Headgear & gloves

** All participants must wear a face mask.
