Scouts Meeting Info. – Monday, January 10, 2022

Scouts will be meeting on Monday, January 10, 2022 at  Scouter Roland’s Home, (see email for address) – between 6:30 – 8:00 PM

Hello 203 Scout’s Troop,

Activities don’t come much simpler than ice fishing. All you really need is a frozen lake. But at its heart, the simplicity of walking out onto a frozen lake and dropping a hook into a hole in the ice is one of its pleasures.  This meeting will have the Troop prepare their tackle and gear as Scouter Brodie prepares us to go on an ice fishing adventure at Wabamun Lake on SATURDAY, January 15 (more details to come in another Scoutstracker communication)!

Details for this Activity/Event:

  • Purpose:  Gear & Tackle Ice Fishing

Be Prepared to Plan/Do/Review:

  • Bring a small ice fishing rod. If you own one or have a friend that will lend you theirs! (All hooks and bait will be supplied)

  • NOTE*:  Scouts & Scouters, a Backpack is required for all outdoor activities/events.
    • Scout Uniform or Activity Shirt with NECKERS

  • Going over some helpful ice fishing tips as well as fishing safety/etiquette when on the lake.
